Armed District of Columbia Special Police Officer Academy Course

Description

A special police officer must be at least 21 years old and a United States Citizen. A Special Police Officer commission authorizes the officer to enforce the D.C. Code of  Laws and arrest individuals on the property the protect.

The objective of this course is to give the learner continued education as a District of Columbia Armed Special Police Officer which is the complete package. This course consist of :

4. Use of Force
5. How to Write and Report and Log Sheets
6. Customer Service
7. Patrol Functions
8. Suspicious Subjects
9. Eyewitness Identification
10. Terrorism
11. Active Shooter
12. Firearms (9mm or 38spl.)
13. Baton & Handcuffing
14. OC Spray
15. CPR/First Aid/AED

This Course is a 92 hour course.
